1. Make student organizations more accessible to transfers

   • Encourage student organizations to adopt a minimum quota for transfer students during each recruitment season.

   • Address the informal barriers that can make it difficult for upperclassmen and transfers to join clubs.

2. Create more class-specific transfer events

   • Work with transfer community leaders to host more events specifically for junior transfers and other transfer class years.

   • Expand these opportunities beyond orientation so transfers can continue building connections throughout the year.

3. Implement a transfer buddy system

   • Create a program similar to VU Scepter, pairing incoming transfers with a transfer student from the class above them.

   • Give new transfers a built in friend, mentor, and resource as they adjust to Vanderbilt.

About Me!

I transferred into Vanderbilt this fall from the University of California, Berkeley. I am planning on double majoring in Political Science and History and am originally from Rockaway Beach, New York City!!(GO KNICKS) I could not have made a better choice in transferring here #anchordown!! I love fashion and anything to do with thrifting or vintage shopping (some may call me a shopaholic). I love to cook and you can catch me at the rec center on most weekdays! I have also watched every movie in the MCU at least twice. I primarily listen to rap and some of my favorite artists are Don Toliver, Lil Tecca, Lil Uzi, Future, and Gunna. Finally my favorite food is pasta (or any Italian food for that matter). I look forward to the possibility of getting to know my constituents and what is important to you guys!
